(馬六甲)甲州政府準備在第十大馬計劃,由士馬木(Semabok)沿著巴力支那河道鋪設一條新公路直通愛極樂,進一步紓解兩地交通擁擠程度,也將使士馬木公路網進一步四通八達!
這條新公路的費用,估計逾2000萬令吉,州政府將之列為第十大馬計劃下首要推展的計劃。
整條新路長達3公里,擁有4車道,從士馬木夜市場經過巴也依干安老院、金龍城花園,延至愛極樂公路,即馬六甲廣場毗鄰。
9月,在首席部長拿督斯里莫哈末阿里主持下,魯容延至武吉峇汝新公路終於通車,縮短兩地的車程,深受民眾歡迎。
現在州政府再接再厲,計劃開闢士馬木延至愛極樂(Ayer Keroh)的新公路,無形中為士馬木達南及鄉村土地注入催化劑。
顏天祿:新路有兩大作用
甲州公共工程及基本設施委員會主席拿督顏天祿週一(10月12日)接受《星洲日報》詢問時,證實州政府原則上已同意推展這項大計劃。
“雖然是一條新路,但它帶有兩大作用,一來可緩和兩地公路交通擁擠,二來可帶動巴力支那河的旅遊潛能。”
他說,州政府也計劃加寬及挖深巴力支那河道,讓水上德士能夠川行,刺激當地旅遊業。
不僅如此,他表示,一旦新路啟用後,這一帶的房地產值也會跟著水漲船高。
士馬木發展前景會大好
顏天祿也是魯容區(Duyong)人民代議士,他有信心,士馬木在擁有齊全的交通網之情況下,發展前景會一片大好。
他指出,魯容延至武吉峇汝的新公路通車後,讓我們感覺到,這裡的經濟已活起來似的,若能多加一條新公路,肯定是錦上添花。

“屆時,兩條新路都會銜接起來,成為市區邊緣的交通要道。”
其實,隨著環境的發展,士馬木達南的交通流量愈來愈複雜,加上可以預見的是,士馬木育英小學的學生人數逐年增加,致使交通成為極需解決的問題。
